Contact the National Resource Center on ADHD: A Program of CHADD

If you have a question about ADHD, our Information Specialists are ready to help. Information Specialists can answer questions on a broad range of topics, including educational rights, treatment options, diagnostic procedures, and how to locate local supports and services. Please note that we are not able to provide referrals to individual professionals, including doctors, mental health professionals, and attorneys; or answer individual medical questions about your or your child's medical treatment.

If we don't know the answer, we'll help you find it.

You may contact us in one of three ways:

  1. Online: Click on Ask a question about ADHD found on every page of this site to access our online reference inquiry form. Simply fill out the form, being sure to complete all required fields. Based on your preferred method of contact, you will receive a response within five business days.
  2. Phone: Call us at 1-800-233-4050 to speak directly with a Health Information Specialist. Specialists are available Monday through Friday, 1 pm - 5 pm Eastern Time. If all Information Specialists are busy, you may leave a detailed voicemail message either to request material by mail, or to request a call back. Call back requests are responded to as quickly as possible.
  3. Letter: You may write to us at the following address:
